In the city of Villa Ángela, Chaco province, a tragedy occurred. According to witnesses, chaos broke out when people not at the party approached the house. The incident took place at a residence on Alvear Street, 540, when around 3:00 a.m., a group of people approached the location and began arguing with the guests. The fight escalated into violence and concluded when a 24-year-old young man fell to the ground. Upon observing the situation, witnesses confirmed he had a stab wound to the chest. The injured man, identified as Jorge Acevedo, was immediately taken to the local hospital by relatives, but minutes later, he died, confirmed the El Norte newspaper. Upon arriving at the scene, the Police found a knife and a tumber-type shotgun, which were seized, according to Agencia Noticias Argentinas. Following the confirmation of the homicide, the case was handed over to the Prosecutor's Office No. 3, led by Sergio Ríos, who ordered the first expert examinations, which allowed the name of the accused to be identified: Milagros Cardozo, 20 years old. With the first information obtained, the prosecutor requested an arrest warrant, and this Sunday afternoon, the young woman's detention was achieved after she turned herself in at the First Police Station with her lawyer. Ríos ordered her formal detention and the seizure of the clothing she used during the birthday party.
